2018 Honda Pilot Exterior and Interior

Even after Honda, Japan’s leading car manufacturer unveiled the 3rd generation of Honda Pilot last year at the Chicago Auto Show, its engineers won’t rest. They are already working on a new version of this Honda for the 2018 model year. The 2018 Honda Pilot will undergo a complete redesign to feature an extensive host of improvements which include a new V6 engine, 2 automatic transmissions, new driver assistance and active safety features, a different exterior design as well as a roomier interior. This three-row crossover with a seating capacity of eight passengers will be available in AWD and FWD configurations.

The 2018 Honda Pilot will have a dicey exterior with softer curves to offer less resistance when driving the vehicle. It will be slightly larger but lighter as a result of the use of aluminium in the frame. It will get redesigned headlights, grille and back guard to give it an aggressive, more forceful look. Its wheelbase will be increased for greater aerodynamic capabilities.

Unlike the exterior, the 2018 Pilot interior will get heavy changes that are aimed at making it roomier and more comfortable. One, it will have a new and more spacious cabin It features 3 rows of seats which besides having a new elegant styling will features high quality materials and several advanced technological features The new Pilot will have customary features, such as Bluetooth connectivity, audio streaming, touch exhibit sound, cruise line control, power attributes and air conditioning. Other features such as DVD amusement, air conditioners, satellite radio and heated front seats will be optional. As for its safety options, it will gather many of Honda’s latest safety features including a standard rear view camera, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning and an eye sight system.

Beneath its hood, the 2018 Honda will have a V6 engine with a 3.5-liter fuel capacity powering it. The engine will be finely tuned to generate 300 hp and a peak torque of 267 lbs. per foot. Expect this engine to be mated to the new 9-paced computerized Honda transmission with power entirely transmitted to this car’s front wheels. The high end models will get the 4-wheel drive system with traction administration. The new Honda Pilot engine will offer better acceleration helping it attain a speed of sixty miles per hour in 8.9 seconds.

The new 2018 Honda Pilot is expected to be released in late 2017 with its base model priced at about $35,000.
